HAPit B.V. is pleased to announce the acquisition of EuroSystems AgroServices B.V. AgroServices is the company that develops the Q-Seed ERP software system.
Recently HAPit B.V. and EuroSystems have agreed on the conditions of the acquisition of AgroServices by HAPit B.V. In 2005 AgroServices had taken over the assets of Queron including the Q-seed software. The transaction is expected to be completed in the beginning of January 2009.
HAPit B.V. is confident that this acquisition will strengthen its leading position as provider of ERP software in the branch of producers, breeders and dealers of agricultural basic material. The customers of both AgroServices and HAPit will benefit from this transaction. Managing Director of HAPit, Wouter van Stuyvesant Meijen, says: “With the knowledge of HAPit and AgroServices combined we will further enhance our service to our customers and continue to improve our software systems, benefiting from the tools available in both solutions.”
HAPit B.V. is the world’s leading provider of ERP software solutions for the flower, field and vegetable seeds sector. For 10 years HAPit develops and sells the Agro Business System (ABS) and has implementations around the world. Q-Seed is an ERP system specially developed to serve the agricultural branch. The customers of both applications will be served from HAPits main office in Grootebroek, The Netherlands.
